Standing Task
Awards
Committee Type: Standing
Purpose: To provide guidance and assistance to members in the awards submittal process.
Objectives: Provide written procedures for awards submitted and assist awards selection panels in the process.

Financial
Committee Type: Standing
Purpose: Provide financial management assistance to the P&H Committee and ensure the committee is on sound financial footing with regard to Committee/Sub-Committee expenditures and reaching our financial goals.
Objectives: Develop a fiscal budget that is in keeping with the financial goals of the Committee and COPRI.

Membership
Committee Type: Standing
Purpose: Manage the committee membership process and coordinate member involvement with task committees.
Objectives: Provide sufficient depth and breadth of comiittee membeship to be representative of the ports and harbors industry and provide technical expertise to support the task committees.

Dry Dock Asset Management
Committee Type: Task
Purpose: To advance the body of knowlesge of the nation's dry docking facilities so as to ensure safety and reliability of American shipbuilding and repair capacity.
Objectives: To publish an ASCE manual of practice for the safe operation and maintenance of dry dock facilities by 2010 and an ASCE standarf by 2012.

Mooring Analysis
Committee Type: Task
Purpose: The purpose of this subcommittee is to develop comprehensive guidelines for the determination of safe mooring of vessels in ports and harbors. The guidelines will include design criteria, mooring analysis methodologies and other relevant information.
Objectives: The objective is to produce a publication that can be widely used to provide direction for engineering criteria and methodologies required to safely moor vessels in ports and harbors.

Ship Characteristics Database
Committee Type: Task
Purpose: To research the waterborne transportation industry to accumulate information such as draft, air draft, length, beam and capacity that can be used in planning by port authorities and terminals for accommodating these vessels.
Objectives: The objective will be to create and publish a listing of the typical range of dimensions for vessels in three areas: 1. Container vessels 2. Bulk and petroleum vessels 3. Cruise vessels
