About the Topic

The first 2004 meeting of the Deepwater Infrastructure Forum focused on developing an understanding of the Loop Current in the Gulf of Mexico and how it affects deepwater marine construction operations. This meeting is designed as a follow-up interactive forum to discuss the specialized installation tasks that must be performed in deepwater, and to gain an overview of the vessels available to do them. Experience with strategies to execute deepwater installation operations will also be explored.
